Admission process

At Howard Academy, we extend the welcome to boys, girls and young people who meet our admission requirements. We pride ourselves on being a completely inclusive institution, where everyone has room to grow and learn together.

Required personal documentation includes:
  • Birth certificate.
  • Copy of Youth ID.
  • Photocopy of Passport and Immigration Card for Foreigners.
  • Two passport size photographs.
  • Copy of the identification cards or passports of the parents or guardians.
  • Copy of the student’s vaccination card.
  • Medical certificate of good health of the student that includes blood type.
  • Complete admission application form.
  • Certification of studies from previous degrees in other colleges or schools.
  • Acceptance form of school policies and regulations signed by parents or guardians.
  • Favorable admission report from the Psycho-Pedagogical Office of Howard Academy, which is generated after an individual evaluation interview of the student by the campus Psychologist.
  • Contract signed by parents or guardian, which can be obtained by requesting it at [email protected]

Howard Academy asks parents or guardians to schedule an appointment for the Admission and Evaluation interview by emailing [email protected] or calling +507 316-1304. The importance of both parents attending with the student during the interview is emphasized to facilitate the process.

During the interview, English language proficiency will be assessed. At the levels of Nursery, Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten and the first grades of Primary, pre-middle and secondary, students are not required to speak English, since at Howard Academy these skills will be progressively developed. For higher grades where students do not reach the required level of English, parents are recommended to enroll the student in remedial courses, available six or three months before the start of the school year. In case the student does not yet master the required English. The formalization of admission to Howard Academy is finalized once the parents or guardians deliver the necessary documents, sign the educational services contract and obtain the admission recommendation from the Psycho-Pedagogical Office, by paying the Registration Fee, the Annual Tuition Fee and the first school monthly payment.
