Why Choose Howard Kids?

Early childhood education should feel different, because it is different. At Howard Kids, the first years of school aren’t a rehearsal for the grades to come. They’re a time to explore, ask questions, get messy, try again and discover who you are. Here, children don’t learn to sit still and fill in worksheets. They learn to wonder, to look closely, to build, to share and to say “Let me try.”
We don’t want your child to be just one more student in a row. We want them to become a curious explorer, a confident communicator in three languages and a kind friend who knows how to listen. That’s why every day at Howard Kids mixes play with purpose, discovery with routine and freedom with warmth. Our teachers know each child by name and follow their progress up close, so every small discovery is noticed and celebrated.

Located in Panama Pacifico, Howard Kids is part of Howard Academy, a school community with more than 20 years of history, committed to well-rounded, humanistic and innovative education. Here, each child is guided with respect, warmth and purpose, building their natural curiosity, independence, confidence and love of learning.

Development Areas in Our Early Childhood Program

Language Development in English, Spanish and Mandarin

In our Early Childhood Program, we support language development from an early age through daily experiences in English, Spanish and Mandarin. Children grow their vocabulary, improve their listening comprehension and strengthen their ability to express themselves through songs, stories, games, guided conversations and interactive activities.

This trilingual approach helps them communicate with more confidence, build active listening skills and get ready for stronger learning in the next school stages.

We believe children learn best when they feel motivated, safe and curious. That’s why our activities are designed so learning happens naturally through play, exploration and discovery.

Through playful activities, learning centers, pretend play and guided tasks, children build cognitive, social, communication and emotional skills while enjoying every experience.

We stimulate children’s senses and early development through activities designed for each age: exploring textures, sounds, colors and shapes, music and movement, water and sand play, and hands-on materials that invite them to touch, observe and experiment.

These experiences strengthen attention, memory, language and coordination, and they help children connect what they feel with what they learn, in a safe environment guided by teachers who follow each child’s progress.

We support each child in building key social-emotional skills such as empathy, respect, cooperation, patience and healthy ways of expressing their feelings.

Through routines, group games, stories, conversations and shared activities, children learn to relate to others, recognize their emotions and build a solid base of values for school and for life.

Our program includes activities that build both fine and gross motor skills, respecting each child’s pace of development.

Fine motor skills are built through tracing, painting, stringing beads, handling materials and precision games. Gross motor skills develop through movement, obstacle courses, dance, outdoor play and exercises that build balance, coordination and body confidence.

Specialized Support for Each Child’s Whole Development

Our team of qualified professionals works closely with children, their families and teachers, providing guidance, assessment and support based on each student’s needs.

With a whole-child approach, we strengthen emotional, social, communication, cognitive and motor skills, helping each child act with more confidence, independence and security in and out of school.

Our goal is to offer close, personal attention, respecting each child’s learning pace and creating strategies that support their academic and personal growth.
